Teams never stop growing and developing. Given the inevitability of membership, leadership and project change, a team is in continual formation. Nor do teams work in a vacuum - organizational growth, competition, market change, environment - all of these factors provide a continual challenge to team performance. With a strong sense of community, craft and purpose, these same factors can temper a team towards new levels of excellence. Spiral Learning helps teams explore their commonality and differences, and establish practices for developing truth, support, and interdependence. Team RetreatsWe work with organizations to develop and provide full team retreats or focused activities within a retreat. Using simulation activities, team assessment tools, and open discussion, teams are able to establish how they currently operate and how to improve. Of equal importance is the camaraderie that develops within a group enjoying time together away from the work environment. Team OrienteeringUsing the fundamentals of orienteering, team members undertake an outdoor adventure requiring co-operation, communication and community spirit. As an event in it's self or as part of a longer retreat, Team Orienteering allows members to learn about working together towards a common goal. Team Development SeminarWithin the Service Leadership Series, this 1/2 day session or full day workshop allows a group to explore 8 key elements for team success and determine where their greatest opportunity for team development lies. |
